Bad Lineage was created in 2025 in Las Vegas and is currently based in Cincinnati. The journal’s logo comes from Pieter Bruegel the Elder’s 12 Proverbs. Beneath the logo’s image in the original work, Bruegel has written: “Whatever I do is in vain. I piss on the moon.”
Jo Wallace is a poet from Indiana. She received an M.F.A. from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Cincinnati.
